Distributing re usable sanitary pads to girls in secondary school.

The Kuleana group deals with training girls in menstrual hygiene education. The group has reached 6,000 girls in Mos hi district of Kilimanjaro region, With a support from Huru International, Tatu Project/ Kili pad project and Peace Corps Volunteer the group managed to distribute re usable pads to 6,000 girls in primary and secondary schools. This assistance helped to reduce number of days girls miss in school because of inadequate menstrual care. The program improved the attendance of girls in school and performance of girls increased
